The Nexus One phone is available unlocked as well, but if you use and AT&T sim card, it will not be able to take advantage of the 3g, only the EDGE/2g. Can the Droid use AT&T’s 3g?

Unlocked means that you can put any sim card from service carrier in the world and the phone will work there. The phone is not locked to any network. You can use a prepaid sim card or a sim card that you pay monthly for.

love this phone! very responsive, touch screen is way better than 9550. apps are great and it’s fun and great for my business as well. best part is I unlocked it so it works everywhere and great on my tmobile network. got a couple for me and the kids at gsmallover.com and we love them. they are a little thicker than i’d like but oh well! 2 thumbs up
