CES 2010: Blue Microphones

Bauer talks with William of Blue microphones about their latest and greatest. Their new Mikey actually hooks up to the iphone and ipod nano and delivers music studio recording quality using the blue fire app. Blue also shows off their Yeti USB microphone, which as the name states, is quite large and delivers superior audio quality for the desktop.

Not really ^^ When a video is uploaded YouTube initially makes a low quality version. When that is finished, YouTube makes a high quality version. Depending on the server load it can be quite instantaneous, or it can take ages.

I like that yeti microphone. Reminds me of the earlier models DJs and Newsmen would use years ago in studios. Has that retro look to it.
Because that’s how YouTube has worked ever since it has an HQ mode. So, it’s been like this for ages. Never noticed? o_O
