In this video, I give my first impressions of the T-Mobile G1 phone which includes the Google Android OS. Thanks to T-Mobile for providing a review unit so that I can share with you all the experience. Size wise, it’s a bit bigger than my iPhone mostly due to the built-in sliding QWERTY keyboard. The very first thing I noticed while using the G1 was that there was a bit of an learning curve in terms of when to use the touch screen and when to use the hardware keys. I also noticed that you …

“it’s a little bit thicker in terms of thickness” lol
Great vid man, subbed
!
and i’m gonna get this phone now because of your review
I got to play Doom on my G1, duke nukem is on it to,
Bit odd to use the controls on it.
I know that song in the intro but I cant remember its name exactly, Maru Insane Youth is whats coming to my mind but it sounds remixed in the intro.
phone nerd….
There is a soft keyboard now.
Its similar to the N97 keyboard
Google Android: Apply directly to the brain.
Very good video, i’ll be checking others also. Think i’ll be getting the MyTouch or the i7500 since my current contract expires in Oct, will be watching for your vids on those phones. Keep up the good work !
This guy is pretty interesting. Subbed.
An operating system by google? Hmm… is this world going topsy-turvy? Hahaha I can’t wait to get my hands on it, but how much will it or does it cost?
It’s all clear to me: I’m gonna buy a iPhone, and no “Android” series.
How did you make your intro?
I second this
Try it with SPB Shell 3.
my sister has one, she likes it, but compared to the storm and definatly the iphone it is clunky and choppy, low fps when scrolling, windows mobile runs fast… but still choppy.
if that helps…
nothing about multitasking??? what!
WHAT???? Of course there is flicking and momentum scrolling!!!
yo wats the song in the beginning?
damn i like the entry song awesome
what is the name?
No it’s not, but the OS (Android) has huge potential and I really liking it. The G1′s hardware needs some improvements, but it’s a decent start for Android.
If they send me a review unit, I’ll review it.
waiting 4 another phone with android in the US
im still waiting for the 1.5 firmware (cupcake) update for my g1.
Cool, thanks a lot man!
