i cant log in, Chrome OS wont connect to the internet, what do i have to do to make it connect?
You can’t use this as your main OS yet can you?
keeps saying “offline login fail” HELP
That would not work – to dual boot – because it’s still running through the BIOS as you start up the computer, so it will still be a slow load time. Obviously not as slow as a Windows system once you get to the boot menu, but still slower than having it as a single OS. Personally, I dual boot Ubuntu Linux with Wubi, so if I need to get on the internet quick, I just load Linux, since it loads extremely fast.
That explains it. But seriously, to release the source code at this stage is just plain stupid.
naah, its not finished yet, but the source code has been released
hey, I’m getting an error message running 10.5 and vm ware fusion 3. anybody know what it means?
here it is:
Cannot open the disk ‘/Users/greiss122/Downloads/chrome-os-0.4.22.8-gdgt.vmdk’ or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Reason: Failed to lock the file.
i think this is perfect to dual boot with, not something you want as a main os, even on a netbook. if you have xp or linux on there you should keep that and then just have chrome os installed so (if the boot times are as fast as google says) you just get straight on the internet if you just wanna get on like youtube really quick

Is this actually an official release though? Seems more like a leak, because videos I’ve seen of recent from Google said it’s still under heavy development, and will undergo many changes still. Either way, Chrome OS sucks.
officially running? wtf
he got this from mobilephone2003
I think that the browser and operating system should have had completely different names to avoid confusion.
