dude i own the mytouch so im telling you first hand…go for it…yeah it might have been laggy because the simple fact its been on for quite awhile…its like a pc you need to restart it ever so often…plus no other android can pull up roms like mytouch and g1 look it up on youtube if you dont believe me you can put up the droid the hero all kinds of cool roms
there are ways to speed it up, but basically it will run slow especially after days of use without ending any processes. rooting and having a task manager will significantly help speed issues but like i said, the best phones coming out are the droid, and the xperia x10
Droid from Motorola is the best! DroidLive + Droid is great! Check it out…
I toyed with the mytouch in a tmobile store and it was so slow the apps didnt even load. I dismissed it as a error due to that being a floor model and everybody messes with it so now that youve made your comment, I have to wonder lol.
sony xperia x3
mytouch sucks. acer a1, sony xperia, motorola droid, samsung moment, even the htc hero is much better. most to be released before the christmas season
if I didnt have the iphone, I would only consider the Samsung Omnia II or the t-mobile mytouch.
luckily this is the first generation phone, and is already outdated. there are over 40 new android devices coming out in the next year, youll get your pick of styles, speed, physical qwerty or not, and price. They are coming out with it all.
why such an ugly phone, a phone this ugly will never do anything against the iphone, even with all the great things it CAN do that iphone doesnt, this phone is just butt-ass ugly and iWouldnt buy it.
What are the differences between the DroidLive Lite 1.0.3 and the DroidLive (full) 1.0.8 ?
Well the Android OS will choose WiFi over 3G. I would recommend WiFi if that was available… But 3G or EDGE connection will do just fine with 96kbps streaming… or higher
When the G1/MyTouch/Cliq is associated with a Wi-Fi access point, does DroidLive prefer Wi-Fi to conserve on data passed over 3G?
