Google voice is definitely a good app, but I don’t think its the best app on android, and stop abbreviating it to “droid” that is just verizon’s branding, its android.
That voice into text thing is cool, but I would only use it with messing around. like saying “aiienb, takiiiiiii! supaloopa xceeno”
words for friends is not that great, you have to have a wifi connection or network connection even if you want to play localy kind of a dumb idea, but it was cheaper than scrabble
They should do a top 5 GAME apps of 2009.
Now I’m not sure about Qik Live — recently attitudes at AT&T toward streaming have changed — but don’t act like Qik did something wrong when they’ve done exactly everything they could.
Uh, with the Qik app, they released the streaming version a long time ago. However, it was against Apple’s App Store / AT&T’s rules, so it couldn’t get approved. The live version has been available for a very long time in Cydia for jailbroken users. So instead, Qik did the next best thing, which is a “record now, stop, upload now” app.

I don’t mean to complain about the list, but Google voice? It’s good if you need it, but MOST don’t. Ever. And WHY NOT a separate list for iphone vs droid? I know you guys are iphone whores, but that’s fine—-still, hardly driod MENTIONED here at all, why not a separate list? Not enough people? nope. Not enough resources? come on guys.
