if you dont know how to use the phone (droid) it will suck … i had mine for about a month now and its great, i like the homepage especially, instead of just lining up the apps here n there
Yeah, so much of this has changed since the update and developments in the Android Market. Camera auto-focus update and Dolphin Browser/PicSay change it all
With the new update for the droid they fix the auto focus problem that the droid was having and they make the time it takes for the camera to take a picture then be ready to take another one faster. In other reviews with the latest update to the droid the droid’s camera beats the iphone

the droid having a slow camera=why have a camera at all? A slow camera is useless if you can’t get a shot in time. Thanks so much for this review! There are camera apps that adjust the image and make it look like it was taken with flash anyway.
Yea.. Another failture for who ever tries to compared the iPhone 3gs to some piece of shit like the droid. I have a iPhone[13G] and my friend has a droid. We decided to trade phones for a week. And I am sorry but droid just sucks donkey balls. Even my friend the owner of the droid wants a iPhone (3G) bcuz he said it’s way better.
just get whichever your carrier has its that simple it all comes down to personal preference as much as that bothers people….

wow.. about the monthly prices. my bill comes in roughly about 88 bucks a month including my insurance. its awesome compared to att&ts prices including the discount i’d get if i used my work discount. im all about the droid.
so with the 2.0.1 update for droid did the camera lag improve as much as they claim? and also i’ve heard that the screen is far more responsive.
would be interesting to see an updated review.
the browser I know of with pinch to zoom is the “dolphin” browser
turns out there was a bug, and its been removed. all of noah’s gripe (not saying droid didnt deserve it) about it’s camera no longer applies.
google had a more direct relationship with the building of the droid. other phones have some custom content from their carrier (motorolla or HTC) on top of google’s android software, so when an update is released, you can bet it will be compatible with the droid, wheras 2.0 is still not compatible with HTC,s customized Eris. So in the end, as far as getting ALL updates, as FAST as possible, your best bet is the droid.
