Yeah, but Apple released multi-touch mobile devices first and changed smartphones’ history.
HTC was before Apple with touch.
And in regards to multitouch technology Microsoft had that before Apple.

Yup, maybe apple were one of the first guys to introduce the touch phone concept, but it’s not a reason to call all other touchscreen phones any kind of iphone clones. That concept is now developed by a huge number of companies including LG and Samsung just because it’s practical and comfortable to use. After all there is no forever-lasting product and here in europe iphone costs about 1000usd for 32 gb version of 3gs and at the same time about 860 for HD2 model.
All companies ,including HTC ,can’t help copping Apple…
The only reason that there are more apps available for Windows Mobile is because it has been released several years before iPhone OS come out. With Appstore this is going to change ,cause lots of apps come out daily…

if the world worked like that, there wouldnt be copyrights, and patents
well…don’t we all learn from each other and incorporate things from what we learn to our own lives? HTC is just taking what consumers wants/likes from the iphone and adding more features to make it even better. Why blame a company that’s trying to advance the cellphone industry? There’s no law saying that’s it’s a crime to take what you learned from your competitors and incorporate it into your own company.
it runs on windows because windows are losing to android and iphone..so they release a beautiful phone with windows and second windows will release the windows mobile 7 and together with this phone they are unstopable
I ordered this phone.. But I have to wait…really sucks..
It’s a shame that it runs on windows. I’m a major applefan but for this time I switch to microsoft, because this is just a better phone..

the HD2 is a great phone, i got mine yesterday and i’m very impressed so far.
Best phone so far, windows is a known and proffesional platform, it has everything you need, and HTC is a great company
HTC has their own innovative ideas – this goes above and beyond Apple’s mobile offerings. Microsoft was in the business 6 years before Apple was, and HTC is making the platform even better with Sense.
I WANT THIS PHONE! Its so beautiful and perfect! HTC is defiantly giving iphone(which I personally think is a boring phone) some major competition!! BIGTIME!
Just in reply i have an iphone and i can say this device look wicked and i find the iphone altought it is a great device it is very limited in its software and hardware i just miss a good video camera and bluetooth
