Up to three! Three iPhone Open Source Components for your dev… By Anthony Nystrom in Misc.
Moving fast is something we do quite well and our Open Source is no exception. Just released our new FTP component for iPhone… (Our other two are listed below this)
This project was inspired by a marvelous lib that I’m using in all my apps that involve network interactions (I can hardly remember one without any): ASIHTTPRequest.
This is the product of composing together ASIHTTPRequest design solutions and SimpleFTPSample techniques.
- Upload and Create directory operations. More to come soon.
- Based on CFNetwork, but provides friendly Objective C API with delegates to handle progress and status of the request.
- Inherits from NSOperation.
- Supports authentication.

- Can change background color, grid line colors as well as regulate their visibility, axis text colors.
- Can display information text above the graph. You can set its color as well.
- Can display one or several graphs at a time.
- Easy to customize text for axis.
- Half-automatic logic.

- Download the sources either using command line or the web interface.
- Create a new folder in the project source directory via Finder and copy the downloaded files there.
- Drag that folder to the folder structure in xCode.
- Import S7RatingView.h in the file where you’re going to use the component.
- Implement S7RatingDelegate protocol. As you see, the component can inform you about the previous rating and the current one.
