Motorola Droid finally rooted! The Motorola Droid is the first Android 2.0 with a superb high-resolution screen, a slim shape, a physical qwerty keyboard and Google’s latest build of Android (the operating system). The web is richer. Photos are sharper. Videos pop. It has the most advanced browser with a blazing-fast processor and 3G speed for faster search. It has the world’s thinnest QWERTY slider at 13.7mm. It can help you navigate turn-by-turn. It has a 5MP camera with a flash, plus loads of great camera features and a DVD-quality recorder to capture all the richer, bigger, wider experiences you’re going to have.
Multimedia capabilities
Motorola Droid is coming with the built-in media player that supports AAC, H.263, H.264, MP3, MPEG-4, WAV, WMA, eAAC+, OGG, AMR WB, AMR NB, AAC+, MIDI. Unfortunately, there is no syncing software to help you manage and transfer your music. As it is right now, you have to use the old drag-and-drop method using the USB cable or sideload them using a microSD card.
Of course, you can also download songs via the Amazon MP3 store. The store allows you to browse by album, song, artist, or genre. You can download the DRM-free songs over Wi-Fi as well as Verizon’s 3G network, though the Droid advises you switch to Wi-Fi when possible since it’s faster.
The bad is, Motorola Droid is not capable to run and read your DVD disc. And, for videos, even it supports MP4, AVI is still the main stream of video container right now. Then, what can you do if you already have a collection of digital video content in AVI, MKV MOV, MOD, M2TS, etc, or on DVD disc, and you are eager to watch them on your lovely Motorola Droid?
Below, I will demonstrate how to rip DVD to Motorola Droid, convert videos to Motorola Droid. Software you will need

I prefer Wondershare video converter, it could convert between all popular Video formats ( AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, FLV, MPEG etc.). I spent ages looking at best Android video converter, tried loads and finally settled on this because it is quick, and most of all its best at batch jobs.
