The problem with Apple is that people stop being critical and sceptical consumers once they see its made by Apple.
This OS seems extremely slow to navigate. I’d say they need more touch gestures.
I’d like to see how it performs on your local 3G network though…

If bluetooth hardware isn’t in it, so be it…I guess that will need an upgrade, but Google themselves could easily write code for gTalk, or someone else could write it..that is a plus of Android, I really want to get my hands on this, but the only copy I could get properly with the Dream is the 400+ developer, unless Google was nice and gave me one

no bluetooth and no gtalk? those are some pretty serious drawbacks. if the htc dream doesn’t have these features, I will simply wait for a future release before I buy in.

They like to make an all inclusive machine that works up to their standards. That’s how they started the company, that’s how it should stay. It’s good for some people, and people that have more time on their hands or are interested in technology have their options.

if people r idiot & cant see whats happening then what can we do. Apple Product is like a very good Food dish fm 5 star hotel such as chicken Fried Rice and when u going to eat it, waiter will tell u Sir u cant use this Brand of Tomato souse. u hav to use that Brand of Tomato souse which only we endorse, u cant eat our food using spoon u hav to use fork. u cant use left hand for holding fork, u hav to use right hand, u cant eat only rice or the meat 1st, u hav to eat theme both same time, etc
i dont disagree that apple makes good things . they invent mouse , jogdial (may be) . my problem with apple is that after buy ur product if hav no rights tell we should use it ( expect if we use it for any crime) . why should we do the things which will give profit only to apple not us ?? and the next step up is linux distros, but that’s a big leap for most people. At least that’s my feeling.
Apple makes pretty good products. Sure, they have their faults, but all that eye candy is hard to resist for most people
another things need to be consider that is Android is Just a OS not Mobile phone . android will win against iPhone or not will lot depend on handset manufactures coz when people buy phone majority of them but it for the handset, how Mobile for is looks whats the performance , features , battary live , High Quality camera , 3G , Good memory etc inside or not . they generally not see which OS its use rather then which Brand it is . so lots of success depends on handset maker.
well i think android 1.0 may not complete well with new iPhone as its the 1st Phone and there will be lots of Bugs even after 1.0 version (and with not , iPhone 2.0 also hav lots of Bugs still) but when android 2.0 will released its will be pretty much pain for Apple.
and must remember nothing can happend over night. its change need time.
